Welcome to the Orange Regional Appaloosa Club & Central Western Performance Horse Club
Based at the Dubbo Showgrounds in NSW, the Orange Regional Appaloosa Club and Central Western Performance Horse Club have proudly joined forces to promote and celebrate Western horse disciplines across the Central West.
With a strong history of over 35 years, we are dedicated to running high-quality Appaloosa horse shows, All Breed competitions, and Ranch Versatility events for riders of all ages and experience levels.

We’re also proud hosts of the NSW Appaloosa State Championships, held annually at the Dubbo Showgrounds. This flagship event attracts Appaloosa enthusiasts from across Australia, and features a dynamic schedule that integrates All Breed events—ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

ABOUT
OUR CLUB
The Orange Regional Appaloosa Club (ORAC) has proudly been part of the Orange and Central West NSW equestrian community for over 30 years. While we recently took a short break to support our governing body — the Australian Appaloosa Association Ltd — our passion for showcasing Western horses never faded.

With a dedicated and experienced committee, many of whom are breeders, competitors, and long-time show managers, we know firsthand what riders want: stress-free, fun, and well-run Western performance shows where everyone can enjoy their horses.
​
In 2023, we partnered with the Central Western Performance Horse Club, based at the Dubbo Showgrounds, to bring riders across the region a strong and consistent calendar of Western and Ranch Versatility shows. Together, we aim to support the growth of Western performance disciplines for riders of all ages and experience levels.
​
ORACWPC is also proud to host the NSW Appaloosa State Championship, held annually at the Dubbo Showgrounds each November. With our Club President managing the show for many years, this event has become a highlight of the Australian Appaloosa calendar — drawing competitors from across the country and offering a wide range of Appaloosa and All Breed classes.
